TIE ROD BOLT FOR 4X26 CYL
The tie rod bolts are what hold the 4" tailgate lift cylinder together. These bolts go through the end caps and are tightened against the and cap keeping the cylinder air tight.
PLEASE NOTE: These tie bolts only work on the 4" tailgate lift cylinder. Please make sure that's the cylinder that you have before purchasing. They're sold individually; if you're looking to replace all 3 then you'll have to purchase 3.

The tie rod bolts are what hold the 4" tailgate lift cylinder together. These bolts go through the end caps and are tightened against the and cap keeping the cylinder air tight. The tie bolts only work on the 4" tailgate lift cylinder, they're not interchangeable with anything other cylinder. Each cylinder uses 3 tie bolts. The tie bolts are usually never changed unless they become frozen and have to be cut in half in order to get the cylinder apart.
