The oval lock nut is used on the pivot pin to secure it to the tub of the trailer.

The oval lock nut is used on the pivot pin to secure it to the tub of the trailer. It holds the pin and main bearing onto the trailer; but also the 2 spacers and washer go with the pivot pin and this lock nut to make an assembly. The nut is sold individually.
There's 4 nuts per trailer.
